Reviews
Friendly staff, quite a few out of the ordinary options for the pizza. Typical price if you don't order drinks, prices are pretty reasonable. The menu is diverse enough that everyone in your group should be able to find something that appeals.
Restaurant is very loud inside or outside, if you have hearing problems in your party, I would definitely recommend either going on a week night when it's not super busy or getting your food to go.
I had the privateer pie, which was delicious! Thin crust, the walnut pesto was yummy. Definitely large enough for two.
The eggplant Parm was good, but by itself overwhelmed by the tomato flavor. I'd recommend a salad or side to go with it.
We had seen good reviews of pizza here on this site, so we decided to try out Privateer. We ordered the Captain Fin and Fungi pizzas. They were absolutely delicious, and seemed very authenticly done like in Italy.
We also liked our server, a friendly lovely blonde woman.
Tuesday Comedy night! Comedians awesome. Staff attentive and friendly. Packed house. Food was very good, complex flavors with solid execution. Minus one star as the actual seats are THE most uncomfortable seating that we have experienced in recent years out to dining. You need to get there over an hour and half early to get a seat and then the show is another hour plus. I needed the massage therapy-chiro visit the next day đ please invest in cushions.
Server was good and attentive. I got the Jalapeño burger with a side salad. The salad was very fresh, no complaints there, however, the burger meat lacked flavor; the soggy jalapeño pinned to the bun seemed odd to me maybe it added to the presentation. I would rather have diced jalapeño in the meat rather than a whole soggy jalapeño on the bun. I just didnât see the value at $28 with a drink. Wonât be coming back for a burger.
Excellent! My "Raen Pie" was Phenomenal, EPPIG SPECIAL Pilsner light beer and refreshing can't miss it... Overall, delicious and very good! đđ
The food is really good. Service not so good. They werenât busy but the waitress was spending too much time talking to people at the bar. Also, the tables and the whole area is not very clean.
I host a comedy show there and every time I go, the staff suggests popular food items, they have AMAZING customer service, and the people that come here are always the most chill.
Went for dinner. Really cool place with cool and awesome staff. Staff was really humble and welcoming. They keep on coming to make sure if their guests are doing good. Very well speaking. Ambiance is quite interesting and hipster. They have given some new names to the food items in their menu, just to make it different, like pizza as âpizza pieâ. So donât get confused with the names of food items. Weâve ordered pizza, which was very great. Little costly but size was big enough to accommodate 3 people in one pizza.
Great place to go with family and friends. Very near from Oceanside beach.
